Conference 2019

March 7, 2019 | 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

New Jersey social workers will receive five (5) Clinical credits continuing education hour for participating in this course.

Donna Jackson Nakazawa is an award-winning science journalist interested in exploring the intersection between neuroscience, immunology, and emotion. Her most recent book, Childhood Disrupted: How Your Biography Becomes Your Biology and How You Can Heal, examines the lifelong consequences—both emotional and physical—of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and offers a pathway to healing for those suffering from chronic conditions. In this workshop, participants will learn how to adopt practices based on scientific evidence to promote recovery and resiliency in children, teens, and families. They will also discover how their own ACEs may be affecting their well-being.

To pay by Purchase Order, or if you have any questions about continuing education hours, registration, or sponsorship opportunities please contact the Foundation Office at Foundation@CarePlusNJ.org or 201-986-5070.
