CarePlus Innovations, the training and education arm of Care Plus NJ, Inc. is offering CADC / LCADC certification training classes for individuals interested in becoming a certified or licensed alcohol and drug counselor in the state of New Jersey.

A Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) has completed the necessary 270 hours of training and educational requirements needed to help individuals recover from addiction by providing treatment, support and motivation towards sobriety.

Individuals with a high school, associates, or bachelor’s degree can enroll in the full course load in order to satisfy the required core trainings. Those with a master’s degree can apply to The Certification Board to determine what additional courses they will need to take to meet the educational requirements.

The classes – offered on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm starting September 2013 through July 2014 – provide the necessary training for an individual to qualify for the CADC or LCADC. Pricing starts at $60 per class and up to $2,250 for all five domains.  Discounts are offered for enrollment in full domains.

CarePlus offers an online registration system to enable those who wish to register to do so quickly and securely. The webpage outlines the needed requirements and course information.
