Supervised Visitation Program

SVP provides supervised visitation in a structured and  therapeutic environment to families whose children are  in the custody of DCPP.

Program Goals: Decrease the amount of time children spend in  out-of-home placement and move the child toward permanent  placement, either with their biological family or in an  adoptive home.

Specialized Services

  • Structured and supportive atmosphere to lessen the  traumatic effects of separation and out-of-home  placement
  • Psycho-education on parenting skills, child rearing techniques and child development, as well as  mangement of time, anger and stress
  • Round-trip transportation for children and parents
