Joseph Masciandaro, President and CEO of Care Plus NJ, has provided exemplary leadership and dedicated service in the field of mental health and substance abuse for over 30 years. For the past 28 years, he has led the Paramus-based organization to new levels of innovative and effective service and program design and implementation.

Mr. Masciandaro’s dedication to the individuals and families served through Care Plus NJ is steadfast. It has been his personal mission to continue to bring needed and innovative services to the community. As a result, he now oversees and successfully leads the largest and most comprehensive community mental health and substance abuse system of care in Northern New Jersey.

Mr. Masciandaro was awarded the Member Advocacy Award in 1999 by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health Agencies and is an active member of its Board of Directors. He served as the Chair of the Bergen County Human Services Advisory Council and is past chair and current member of the Professional Advisory Committee of Bergen County. Joe Masciandaro represents Care Plus NJ not only at a state level, but also on a national level, with membership in the National Council of Community Behavioral Healthcare and the Mental Health Corporations of America.
