Position: Screener
Department: Psychiatric Emergency Screening Program (PESP) Hours: Full Time and Per Diem hours available. Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field and 1 year mental health experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years mental health experience, one of which must be in inpatient setting, Screening center or emergency service; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of paid experience in the mental health field, one of which is in a crisis setting and enrolled in a Master’s program. Eligibility for TAC temporary screener certification. Valid Driver’s License Job Summary: Provides hotline intervention, psychiatric assessment, therapeutic crisis intervention and when applicable on-site and outreach, provides treatment planning, crisis intervention, follow-up and linkage services. Job Summary: Responsible and accountable for providing direct behavioral health care services for an adult person with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) in an outreach/case management program. Duties include assessments, service planning, individual and family interventions to prevent psychiatric re-hospitalization from a community based approach which focuses on intensive monitoring of services. Job Summary: Acts as a Primary Case Manager for adults receiving Temporary Assistance for Individual and Families (TANF) benefits under Welfare program. Primary focus is to help these individuals reach self sufficiency by either obtaining training/employment or move toward exemption status/applying for Social Security. Individual will maintain a caseload of 30-35 clients and develop individualized service plans, which are consistent with WFNJ regulations and leads to employment. Duties will also include at a minimum: job development (including job leads, resume/interview preparation), client advocacy, follow-up and support through the duration of the grant, case management and service coordination, linkages to community resources, mental health care services and/or alternative benefit programs, mentoring development of case plans and long-term career goals, along with leveraging of State and County services. Job Summary:Responsible for individual and group supervision of direct line staff both on-site & in the group homes; oversees the case management and treatment of clients; supervision of direct line staff; coordinates referrals from Medical Services, outpatient clinic and all outside agencies; attends integrated service meetings and team meetings; provides oversight for line staff in coordination of client's medical services with outside agencies and directs client contact and assessment; on-call on a monthly rotational basis.
