Position: Screener

Department: PESP

Qualifications: Master's degree in a mental-health-related field from an accredited institution, plus one year of post-master's, full-time, professional experience in a psychiatric setting OR Bachelor's degree in a mental-health-related field from an accredited institution, plus three years post-bachelor's, full-time, professional experience in the mental health field, one of which is in a crisis setting OR Bachelor's degree in a mental-health-related field from an accredited institution, plus two years post-bachelor's, full-time, professional experience in the mental health field, one of which is in a crisis setting and currently enrolled in a master's program; Must possess computer skills; Valid Driver’s License, insurable under agency policy.



Job Summary: Provides therapeutic face-to-face and telephone crisis intervention on and off-site. Responds to the individual needs of their clients and families. Prevents inappropriate psychiatric hospitalization or re-hospitalization. Assesses levels of risk and crisis in the home and community.

Position: Per Diem Mental Health Workers

Department: Partial Care/Residence

Hours: Per Diem available

Qualifications: BA or BS in a Mental Health discipline (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work); 1 year experience in mental health, residential services desirable; Must drive/transport clients; Valid driver's license insurable under Agency policy; use of own vehicle.

Job Summary: Positions available in our group homes. Primary responsibility is to supervise adult mentally ill consumers in a group home setting that includes medication monitoring and ADL's.

Position: In-Home Clinicians

Qualifications: LCSW or LPC and documented knowledge of at least one (1) year work experience with children and adolescent populations; MSW or MA in a related field + Bi-Lingual Spanish-speaking;
Must possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under standard Agency automobile policy.

Job Summary: Provides short-term in-home counseling services to children and families who are presenting with behavioral and relational challenges. Clinicians typically provide an average of two hours of clinical services for eight weeks per family to stabilize and improve functioning. Opportunity to create a flexible schedule with superb supervision available.

Job Summary: Serves as a member of an inter-disciplinary team and fulfills the objectives of the Crossroads to Wellness program. Provides all needed support services to all enrolled consumers based upon their stated goals and desires in WRAP and Recovery Plans. Assures program goals and objectives are accomplished by fulfilling job and team responsibilities as assigned. Some duties and responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, prescribing medication, and medication monitoring. Provides services on-site and off-site.

Job Summary:
Parent Guidance Consultant
Provide in-home services to children/adolescents and their families to increase family stabilization through the supervision of parenting education, counseling, and parent coaching.

Foster Care Clinician
Provide one hour sessions to children and their fosters parents in the following counties: Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Morris, Warren and Sussex; collaborations with DYFS; clinicians provide 12 sessions and then link to less intensive services in the community.

Position: Case Manager

Department: Integrated Case Management Services (ICMS)

Job Summary: Provides direct case management services to an adult mental health population in the community on a 24/7 hours basis. Spends 65% of time face-to-face with consumers, in their homes and the community. Position: 2 PT Case Managers

Department: SAIF/TANF

Hours: Part Time available

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
Experience in working with welfare recipients, domestic violence, job development, crisis intervention, counseling, mental health, and substance abuse.
Must demonstrate good organizational, communication, negotiating and problem solving skills.
Must be accessible to clients.
Good team player.

Job Summary: Acts as a Primary Case Manager for adults receiving Temporary Assistance for Individual and Families (TANF) benefits, as well as General Assistance (GA) under Welfare program. Primary focus is to help these individuals reach self sufficiency by either obtaining training/employment or move toward exemption status/applying for Social Security. Individual will maintain a caseload, as assigned by the Program Manager, and will develop individualized service plans, which are consistent with WFNJ regulations and leads to employment. Duties will also include at a minimum: job development (including job leads, resume/interview preparation), client advocacy, follow-up and support through the duration of the grant, case management and service coordination, linkages to community resources, mental health care services and/or alternative benefit programs, monitoring development of case plans and long-term career goals, along with leveraging of State and County services.

Position: Drivers

Department: Partial Care/Residence

Qualifications: Must have a good driving record and eligible to be insured by the standard Agency insurance policy; Must be able to read and write English.


Job Summary: The Driver operates Agency vehicles for the purpose of transporting clients to and from the Agency, recreational outings, medical appointments, etc. The Driver is responsible for physically assisting clients during all phases of transport (entering and exiting the vehicle, the Agency and their homes); supervises clients while in transport and intervenes if any conflicts and/or crisis arise (medical or psychiatric). Reports any such incidents immediately to the Program Director or his/her designee. The Driver is also directed to report any client absences on a daily basis and is expected to follow all policies and procedures related to vehicle safety and maintenance as outlined in the Agency's Transportation Manual. The Driver satisfactorily completes all required trainings and attends requested meetings.
