It is the mission of the Care Plus Foundation (CPF) to support the clients, programs, and services offered by Care Plus NJ through public education, program development, community relations, and fundraising. We are also committed to providing the community with accurate and trustworthy information on mental health-related issues.

Care Plus Foundation Offers:

- Educational programs to erase the stigma, stereotyping, and prejudice often associated with mental illness and to promote treatment and recovery

- A Speakers Bureau through which qualified speakers present to your organization or group their expertise on a wide variety of mental health-related topics

- An annual Courage Award acknowledging individuals and businesses who have exhibited courage in addressing the needs of the mentally ill

- Monetary assistance for Care Plus NJ clients to obtain housing to foster independent living, as well as to obtain medication to prevent relapse

- Scholarships for Care Plus NJ clients to continue their education and develop rewarding employment opportunities

- A variety of fundraising events and other opportunities to enable the community to join in our efforts
