Affirmative businesses have come to characterize those programs that offer historically disadvantaged groups opportunities, incentives, and programs designed to jumpstart and/or foster business development, as well as to achieve actual and tangible results. The Affirmative Business Model promotes quality employment to persons with disabilities. Individuals with disabilities want to be employed and educated and have a strong desire to become active citizens within their communities.

For the past ten years, Care Plus Laser Imaging (CPLI) has been operating as an Affirmative Business. Because of its success, a new venture began in December 2004 when CPLI relocated to new offices in Wallington, NJ. Upon the relocation, Care Plus Janitorial Services (CPJS) was developed to employ more of the economically disadvantaged and to promote quality employment. To date, CPJS has expanded to cover several major sites, providing the highest level of professional services because our workers are motivated to meet customer standards for reasons that are important to their lives.
